Subject: community donations?

Hi, my name is Laura Hudson, and I’m with Homeland Missions, a ministry of Sovereign Grace Fellowship in Slidell, LA.

In addition to having several long-term volunteers in community service, we also house and feed volunteers involved in disaster relief & recovery (related to Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, Isaac, etc.). In the meals we provide, we seek to give volunteers a taste of local “flavor”, including wild-caught game and fish.

Are there any organizations, individuals, programs, rodeos, etc. that you’re aware of, that donate game or fish to nonprofits? Any information or contacts will be greatly appreciated.

We would also be interested in receiving game from controlled kills, if W&F has any planned in the area. Additionally, we can also use fresh-kill nutria, racoon, etc., if such were available.
